ParserCap is an advanced visual monitor that allows you to analyze network traffic. The program is intended primarily for computer specialists in the field of network information security, programmers, system administrators.
The program allows to make technical analysis of the Internet traffic in PCAP format. There is a system of filters which allows to make search by keyword in TCP headers, i.e. - it makes possibility to recognize traffic including files, logins, passwords and other data, transferred through unencrypted channel.
ParserCap features overview:
- detailed display of HTTP requests by sessions;
- Possibility to view extended data about MAC addresses of downloaded file;
- Ability to analyze Cookies files, network host name, User-Agents data;
- Monitoring DNS queries for individual MAC addresses;
- URL conversion;
- Ability to analyze protocols - HTTP Headers v.IP4, DHCP, ARP and others.
The application is free, it doesn't require installation - it's portable. The program interface is very simple, despite the English language interface - it is easy to understand the functionality of the program. The program is designed for the operating system Windows with x86 and x64 architecture. The program is under intensive development, periodically developers add new features and eliminate bugs, there is a function of automatic installation of updates when they are released.
