Dicter Translator uses a database provided by the famous Google Translate service which allows the program to support more than fifty different languages.

An important feature of the utility is the ability to do full-fledged translation directly on the page of the site. It is easy to do: the desired text fragment is selected and then, using the Ctrl combination together with Alt, the user receives the result of translation. As an alternative to the keys you can use the icon of the utility, which is in the tray and performs the same function.

When working with the program, you may come across a case when performing the above actions, instead of the translated text an error message appears. This happens infrequently and is often associated with the inability to detect the text intended for translation. To fix this, you need to select the text again and again resort to Ctrl+Alt, after which Dicter will perform its task.

Another "feature" that Dicter translator is ready to offer - in addition to the standard text translation function, it can also play it back. Also, the program is optimized for use both on older versions of Windows, as well as on its most recent and up-to-date releases.

Installing Dicter

After downloading, run the installation of Dicter. Since the program is free, during its installation, along with the utility itself, the user is offered to install software not related to the translator. To refuse to install third-party programs, simply uncheck the appropriate "checkbox".

Once the installation is complete, you can use the automatically created shortcut to launch the main window. If the program settings have not been changed, by default it will be launched with the operating system booting. If the utility is installed correctly, a Dicter icon will appear in the system tray, and clicking on it will activate the program and its settings panel.
