Mail.Ru Cloud is a service that provides users with a dedicated virtual space for storing personal files. It can be used by mail.ru mailbox owners. Storage is linked directly to the account: it is not possible to enter someone else's area without a special link and open access.
Mail.Ru Cloud service features
Each user of mail is allocated 25 GB of memory on a remote server and can use it absolutely free. Expansion up to 1 Tb is available for an additional fee. The size of downloadable files according to the service tariff is limited to 2 GB (free service) and up to 32 GB (paid service).
Other features of the storage include:
- saving backup copies of all files;
- scanning of downloaded objects for viruses;
- Possibility for the user to forward received e-mails to the server;
- attachment of files stored in the cloud to messages;
- opening access to selected folders or files for other users;
- sending links to files in the storage to social networks (after opening access);
- Full or selective synchronization between folders in the storage and on a personal computer is available;
- It is possible to edit the files stored (text, images, tables, presentations);
- Instant upload of photos or videos captured with a webcam is allowed.
You can work with Mail.Ru Cloud without any speed limits. Maximum download or upload depends only on the device you use and the Internet connection.
Cloud can be integrated into PCs with Linux/Windows/macOS (32- and 64-bit) operating systems, Android/iOS/WinPhone mobile devices. Dedicated space can be managed after authorization in the mail service or via special applications.
