The KRISTAL Audio Engine is a multi-track audio file recorder and mixer. The program has a huge set of tools for editing and recording audio files in digital format.
The program works as a modular system. Other parts of the utility are loaded as plug-ins.
The main features of the KRISTAL Audio Engine are
- Ability to process 16-bit, 24-bit, 32-bit audio files;
- Parametric equalizer consists of three bands;
- 2 VST input slots per channel;
- 3 VSN slots for editing and adding effects;
- ability to save and load KRISTAL objects;
- support of formats: OGG Vorbis, WAVE, FLAC, AIFF;
- Installation of special plugins Kristalizer, KristalReverb, KristalChorus, KristalMultiDelay;
- Possibility of multistream recording via ASIO/MME;
- ASIO monitoring;
- Possibility to process audio clips;
- Possibility to add fade in, gain, montage transition effects;
- history recording is possible;
- repeat or cancel action;
- Possibility to export AES31;
- ability to connect microphone, guitar;
- Possibility to play in real time with simultaneous use of VST effects.
