Remote Mouse is part of the Windows "software pairing" of the same name. Allows you to "turn" a portable gadget running Adnroid or iOS into an interactive keyboard and mouse. Provides synchronization with PC via Wi-Fi wireless protocol.
Can interact both with the "basic" Remote Mouse virtual keyboard and with "standard"/third-party virtual keyboards for portable gadgets, including their smiley faces and emoji. Emulates cursor movements based on touchscreen data.
Mouse Remote functionality
- Syncs between PC and portable gadget via IP protocol or QR code over a specified Wi-Fi network;
- Analyzes clicks on the touchscreen, interprets them into a code understandable to Windows, carrying the coordinates of the mouse movement and emulates the movement of the cursor on the PC screen;
- Visualizes a virtual keyboard, detects the "pressed" key based on touchscreen data, and emulates the key "press" code in the OS kernel;
- Replaces the "basic" Mouse Remote keyboard with a selected, from a list of "standard" or "third-party" keyboards initiated in the handheld gadget system;
- Automatically interprets the "pressed" smiley face or emoji element in a form suitable for use in the interface of an open PC program. If not - "inserts" the character equivalent of the selected emoticon.
Features
- Transforms portable gadget into wireless mouse and keyboard;
- Relatively realistic mouse movement emulation (the cursor does not "jump");
- Support of semi-automatic synchronization via QR code scanning;
- Possibility to choose between "basic" Mouse Remote keyboard, "standard" keyboards of the portable gadget, and keyboards from third-party developers;
- Low probability of desynchronization.
Disadvantages
- Slugging" is possible if the handheld or PC is far enough away from the Wi-Fi access point;
- After prolonged operation there is an automatic desynchronization and re-synchronization;
- Some emoticons and emoji from "third-party" keyboards are displayed incorrectly on the PC.
