Virtual Clone Drive is a utility whose main purpose is to create virtual drives and run created or downloaded images.
After installing the utility and then rebooting the computer, the application automatically creates a virtual CD/DVD-ROM drive that will load the images.
Features of Virtual Clone Drive
This application lets you use exact copies of CDs and DVDs directly from your hard drive or from a network drive without burning them to CD or DVD discs.
This way your data can be read much faster and with higher quality than from a physical disc inserted into a CD/DVD drive.
The application has a minimum number of settings - no need to adjust the reading speed of the virtual CD/DVD-ROM drive and no concern about the readability of the disk. Virtual discs can be mounted or dismounted with the context menu of the created virtual disc or by double-clicking the virtual disc icon. Windows itself considers this disk as a physical CD/DVD-ROM.
