BootRacer is a program whose main function is to measure the OS boot speed.
The program starts measuring the time at the moment of login, i.e. either from the welcome screen or after selecting the user profile and entering his password. The measurement takes place at each login. In case the PC user uses utilities to optimize boot speed, he will be able to notice the progress in one direction or another.
BootRacer Features
The interface of the program is very concise. After launching BootRacer, the user is asked if they need to restart the computer immediately to determine the time. You can click "yes" and wait for the result. Another way to go is to activate the program without a forced reboot. BootRacer expects this, and as soon as the user activates the application, it will immediately show the time. All the results of the program are logged in a special log, which is always available.
BootRacer is able to work equally effectively under an administrative account as well as under a regular one; it is very easy to learn and requires almost no pre-configuration. In the case of individual use of the program, there is no need to buy a license at all.
According to the developers, if the system takes less than a minute to load, it means that it is well optimized. The official website has information that BootRacer is not designed to work with third-party shells. So if you don't have Windows Explorer, the others should be disabled.
