Uninstall Tool is a multifunctional program uninstaller for Windows. Allows you to "correctly" uninstall programs installed on your system. Can find and completely erase "digital tails" of "incorrectly" removed software.
Able to interact with any kind of utilities, including system utilities launched in the real-time mode and those that have "settled" in the autostart. Supports batch uninstallation of "annoying" sets of programs installed along with other software without user's consent.
Uninstall Tool functionality
- Analyzes the system, creates a list of installed programs and visualizes them in the interface;
- Forcibly terminates the process and the services associated with the selected program, and "removes" its installers from the autorun;
- Initiates the uninstall process, and if there is no appropriate uninstaller file, "roughly" deletes the program's directories;
- Scans the temp-folders and the registry, and cleans all the digital tails of the software being uninstalled;
- Tracks changes related to installation/uninstallation/autoloading, logs them to a special log-file;
- Automatically creates backups of registry data;
- Removes "annoying" sets of programs "in a batch", and prevents their reinstallation.
Utility Features
- Highly intelligent system scanning algorithms capable of detecting any "digital traces" of the program being uninstalled;
- Support for forced uninstallation of running utilities and disconnection of services associated with them;
- Support for "batch" uninstallation for "annoying" software suites and preventing their subsequent installation into the system;
- Tracking and detailed logging of everything about installing/removing programs;
- Backup restore capability through the interface.
Disadvantages
- Free mode is valid for one month only;
- Rare chance of damaging system-critical components during batch uninstallation of "software suites" - can be treated by rollback;
- Antivirus removal is not supported.
