DoPDF is a free PDF converter. With it you can create a PDF file from almost any application that has a print option. Such applications include all programs of the Microsoft Office package, as well as Photoshop, email clients, Internet browsers, and many others.
The essence of the program is that it is installed as a virtual printer driver. When you install the program, it appears in the list of printers and faxes installed on your computer in the "control panel" menu.
If you want to create a PDF file, all you need to do is open the desired document in the editor, click print, select DoPDF from the list of printers and click start. After that, you will be asked where you want to save the file. Once selected, the program will complete the conversion and automatically open it in your default PDF viewer.
On top of that this program has several advantages compared to other converters:
- In the settings of the program you can specify the resolution of the resulting file - from 72 dpi to 2400 dpi;
- text search will be available in the output file, since the program indexes all the contents.
