Evernote is a web service and suite of programs that allows you to conveniently create and store notes. A note can be a formatted text fragment, an entire web page, a photo, a handwritten note, or an audio file. Notes can also contain attachments of other file types and be sorted by notebook, they can be tagged, and they can also be edited and exported.
Evernote is implemented for work on several (including mobile) platforms: iOS, OS X, Android, Chrome OS, Windows Phone, MS Windows, webOS and BlackBerry. Backups and online synchronization are available in the program.
The software in question was founded by Stepan Pachikov; the open beta version was first introduced in the summer of 2008. In July 2013, the user audience had grown to 65 million people.
