Power Data Recovery is an application designed to recover lost data from hard drives, CDs, memory cards, CD/DVDs, flash drives, Memory Stick and other data storage devices.
Important: After accidental deletion of data it is strongly not recommended to copy files to this disk! It may cause overwriting of deleted data and recovery procedure will take much longer, but more often it will be impossible at all.
By default all folders and files of the desktop, as well as the contents of the owner's directory (Documents, Video, Pictures, Audio, Downloads) are located on the system disc. For this reason, if the data is deleted specifically from the system drive, Power Data Recovery must be downloaded, saved and run on another logical drive and vice versa, if the information is lost from the logical drive, the program must be saved and installed on the system drive or another free drive.
The program is available in English only. The names of the recovery modules are indicated by special icons. In total, Power Data Recovery provides five different modules:
- Detect any deleted files.
- Recover damaged partitions.
- Recover lost partition.
- Recover audio and video files.
- Recovery CD/DVD data.
Data recovery with Power Data Recovery
To recover lost data, you need to follow three steps:
- select one of five recovery modes;
- Identify the storage medium and start scanning it;
- Select the necessary files among the detected ones for the recovery procedure.
If the user does not know the exact file name, a preview is possible.
The application is compatible with 32 and 64-bit Windows operating systems.
