Altarsoft Video Capture makes it possible to record not only from the monitor screen, but also from a webcam, game, website and any application. The resulting recording can be saved in one of the formats:
- wmv;
- asf;
- avi.
The program settings menu allows you to select the video device from which the recording will be made, the compression level (compression is enabled by default, you can disable it if you want, but it will greatly increase the size of the original file) and adjust the audio parameters. Before you start recording video, you can adjust the levels of brightness, contrast, color (saturation, conversion, or discoloration). You can pause recording or set unnecessary frames to be skipped.
The recording of an Internet stream starts after selecting a file or specifying a link. In this recording mode you can preset the video quality. This feature is a key feature of Altarsoft Video Capture.
