SimpleOCR (Optical Character Recognition) is an application for recognition of scanned text in foreign languages (English, French, Dutch). OCR (Optical Character Recognition), in addition to recognition, allows text editing, finding a word or phrase by entering the searched combination, analyzing, translating, printing, formatting, etc.
If the picture is of proper quality, the recognition accuracy of the Latin text reaches 99%. The remaining percentage is given to manual correction of characters.
SimpleOCR dictionary contains more than 120 thousand words and can be updated with new words manually using your favorite text editor.
