In the past, AIDA32 was a popular and free program that allowed you to view information about your computer's software and hardware.
The consequence of the development of this version were such paid applications as AIDA64 and Everest.
AIDA32 features
This application allows you to analyze the configuration of your personal computer and give the most detailed information about the software and hardware component of your PC, namely:
- what devices are installed in the system - processors, motherboards, video cards, audio cards, memory modules, etc;
- characteristics of the devices: cache sizes, processor clock frequency, power supply voltage, etc;
- CPU temperature readings;
- command sets and operating modes supported by the processors;
- who is the vendor of the components;
- what software is installed on the computer;
- operating system configuration;
- which drivers are already installed;
- which programs are automatically loaded in the system;
- what licenses are available and what processes are running in the system.
This application is also able to test writing and reading from RAM, comparing the results before and after.
Aida32 has multilingual support and can be installed automatically depending on the localization installed. There is also a 16-bit version of this application which can be used when working in DOS.
As of March 24th, 2004 the AIDA32 project was terminated and then the application's website was closed shortly thereafter.
