SysInfo Detector is a free utility for obtaining information about the components of your personal computer with detailed reports. The program is compatible with all versions of the Windows operating system.
The main features of SysInfo Detector are
- Detailed information about the hardware configuration of the computer on which the program is installed and used. Quick access to all the hardware installed on your PC, from information about the motherboard to all the devices plugged into USB ports. The information includes the name of the manufacturer, model, serial number, and other data.
- Detection of connected device models. Models of PCI/PCI-X/AGP/USB/PCI-E devices and monitors are detected by reference books.
- Serial numbers. All the equipment has serial numbers, the information about which the program is able to get and display. These are RAM modules, motherboards, hard disks, USB devices, processors, monitors, and other equipment.
- All detected USB devices are additionally divided into types. All equipment connected to USB is divided into classes (e.g. mice, keyboards, printers, MFPs). The program determines which class a particular device belongs to and groups them accordingly. If no class could be defined for the device, it gets the "USB device" class.
- Information about PC operation problems. The program displays information about the problems it detects and can even detect potential problems.
- What software is installed. SysInfo Detector generates and displays a list of all currently installed applications in the operating system. This allows you to control the software used on your workstations.
- Running processes, OS settings, and software licenses. The software license usage data and the main OS settings are determined.
- Monitoring of system sensors. Program is able to read information showing fan speeds, supply voltages, component temperatures.
- The user can create corrected versions of the information about the devices and send them to the developers.
Additions in the Pro edition of SysInfo Detector:
- report creation to files;
- Hardware Inspector compatible reports;
- Ability to start the application from the command line (this kind of launching would be convenient for gathering information about network computers).
Thus, the program knows almost everything about the "guts" of your system unit.
