Light Alloy - a popular, multilanguage media player with powerful functionality, including, timeline, WinLIRC, preview, support for IPTV, Internet radio, switching tracks and a lot of other options.
The player's free status is probably due to the fact that the developer is from Russia. "Extra-interface", as it can be called, is the first thing that attracts attention in this player. All the buttons in the program, both in settings and on the main control panel, are drawn in a kind of "childish" style. You may consider this more of an advantage than a disadvantage, because such buttons look quite pleasant. The absence of annoying stereotypical patterns can also be written down as a plus. In addition, all the buttons are easy to remove, referring to the context menu, called by right-clicking on the viewing area.
Significant disadvantages of the player relate to language support for non-English-speaking users. The program is distributed free of charge only in the English language version, for others the localized version will cost $10. In addition, the application is not cross-platform and works only with Windows.
