Jaangle is an application that combines player and organizer capabilities with advanced database search and ID3v2 tag editing.
The program provides both the ability to play various formats of video and audio files, and to search for and download non-commercial music from the Web.
The utility categorizes avi, ogg, mp3 and wma files and then displays them in a separate browser. The application also supports DVD, CD, network and local hard disks.
The Taglib library is the basis of the tagging module. It works on the following principle: first it reads all data concerning the tags from the files and then does the so called parsing, that is the syntax analysis of the file name, covering such categories as album, title, track and sequence number.
